The Curriculum
If you want to know more about the subjects included in our curriculum and how we'll be presenting the information, then visit our Curriculum page. We explain the idea behind our educational videos and expand on the differences between the Case Studies and the Tutorials.

Site & Curriculum Prerequisites
The primary tool used in each of the video tutorials and case studies is Photoshop. Currently, the version of Photoshop you may be using in your own workflow should be suitable in allowing you to follow along with the authors without issue. However, a working knowledge of Photoshop, it's tools and their settings are highly encouraged. The author utilizes Photoshop's layers, adjustment layers(curves, levels), selection tools(lasso, wand, quick selection), color tools(selective color, hue saturation, levels, curves),creative tools(air brush, clone stamp, patch), masks and actions during the retouching process. It is VERY important that you have at least a basic working knowledge of these subjects and their adjustment parameters so that you can get the most out of your training

What is the difference between the Pro-torials & the Case Studies?

The Pro-torials are "one-off" videos that teach a specific technique or concept in a single video tutorial.

Case Studies are multi-video tutorials within a single post. Expanding on the single tutorial concept, these videos offer in depth instruction from the start of a project to it's completion. For example, our Skin Studies case study demonstrates a complete skin & beauty image retouch from start to finish.
